In the year 1847, on the 10th of November, at eleven in the morning, has appeared before us,  the Mayor, official to the marital status of the community of Mondorff, Canton of Remich, in the Grand duchy of Luxemburg, Peter Leick Age 36, who has introduced to us a male child born yesterday in Mondorff at four in the morning of him and his wife Susanna Bohs (?), age 34 years, without profession who has declared to give him the name of Nikolas.
Whose declaration and introduction took place in the presence of Johann Capgen, age 46, day laborer,
and Johann Eintinger, age 47 years, tinsmith (?), who reside in this community, and have …(?) and signed witness to this birth certificate, after it had been first read to them.
